A Keynote and Education Story
Nokia Siemens was having their annual North American sales meeting in Miami. They wanted a Keynote and sales education session as part of their two-day event.
In discussions with their Marketing team it was determined that the Keynote would open the session to help set the positive mood for the two days. Day one covered sales and operational presentations and case studies presented by some of the top sales reps.
On Day two there were four education sessions created. Nokia Siemens did two sessions and The Sayers Group did two. For the two sessions we presented we focused on Strategy and Sales Leadership. The sales people were challenged to look at their individual markets and customers and create a strategy and then as a team discuss and document how they would accomplish this and who owned which part of each strategy. In the second session the teams were then challenged to create the leadership needed to create the success they were wanted to achieve – strong teamwork, taking responsibility versus placing blame, praising instead of criticizing and coaching and supporting their team to success.
The program was so well received that we were hired to deliver the program to the European sales meeting in Berlin Germany.
